Ketogenic Diet

A ketogenic diet is very low in carbohydrates, moderate in protein, and high in fat. By restricting carbohydrates, the body enters a metabolic state called ketosis, where fat becomes the primary fuel. This significantly lowers insulin levels and can improve insulin sensitivity. Clinical studies show that ketogenic diets are effective for weight loss, reducing liver fat, and controlling type 2 diabetes.1
