Exercise

Regular physical activity helps improve insulin sensitivity by increasing glucose uptake in muscles independent of insulin. Both resistance training and aerobic exercise can lower fasting insulin levels and are effective tools for weight management. Combining exercise with a low-carbohydrate diet often yields significant improvements in metabolic health.1
